Pain In Ear And Jaw When I Drink Alcohol

61) carnival parade 2010

The carnival parade

.. was also this year one of the highlights of our fair city Mühlhäuser ..
and there in that context are not fair, all 31 communities are presented, Smiley wants to focus on only a few ..
The pictures were taken by Andrew, the Petra from the home team .. came to like almost every year to celebrate the fun fair ..

The fair community Viktoriastraße had this year, the bridge-builder John Augustus Roebling and he founded in America City Saxonburg as moving motto.
And special for one reason ... for the first time were guests from the sister city Saxonburg at the fair and when moving it.
JARöbling had emigrated to America in 1831 and founded the town with other German emigrants Saxonburg.
1840 he founded the first wire rope factory built in 1845 and the first cable suspension bridge. Ten years later the bridge across the Niagara and 1867 he designed the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, which was then known as the eighth wonder of the world.

from Münster how did each year, a strong delegation to the fair .. mühlhäuaser, the town band, the girls of the dance group and the Carnival Tollitäten
... again and again welcome guests ..

The community fair field street / road houses had chosen as special move moth "100 Years of George School."
the time the biggest elementary school of the city was also separated into a first education for boys and for girls. On 1st and 2nd World War II, used as a hospital, the school was in the twenties, the Catholic school in the city. In the thirties, then fell away, religious instruction in schools and the school system was unified. In the communist era here, the pre-vocational secondary schools (POS) Karl-Liebknecht and Rosa Luxembourg were and now here is the Georgia High School.

The fair community Weinbergstraße / Graßhofstraße had chosen the National Park Hainich as a theme. Flora and fauna here have been alive and corpse, it was also the bed.

The DDR-time was not allowed in the parade are missing .. and why not .., that too is a part of our history ..
The Trabi jeep and army dispatch rider ... which many strollers in the city .. and Feldbaubrigade on the LPG field .., all reminiscent of a time that now is already history ..

The fair town Rimbach (Peter Steinweg) had this times an ark Noah built the same and the corresponding passengers - elephants, lions, gorillas, zebras and much, much more - brought.
Now it is even with us not quite so bad with the flood .. but one can not be too careful ... ;-))

course that could not all are on display - Andrew had almost 200 photos shot -
.. and Of course one could be far, far more coverage to our fair ... but in some Facebook pages are still all kinds of pictures ..
.. as Smiley says so beautiful ... always stay curious ..
.. in that sense .. ;-)))

Can Strep Cause Tooth Ache

60) children's lives

.
children and children's education in changing times ...

... Smiley had since the passage of time also can keep Mühlhausen much good ..

came about two hundred years ago with the bourgeois family, a civic education of the children, now here, the girls were already on the high school in the bridge street ..
The children of the poorer classes went to the people and the poor in the school yard (north of the lower Steinweg) .. which did not differ much from the previous and numeracy schools in the private schoolmaster ..

prevailed in the Biedermeier period in Mühlhausen yet the tranquil family life where the children had their share .., but some children the poorer craftsmen and laborers had to get the necessary firewood in winter in the forest and also in the household or in fields and gardens to help ..
prevailed in school now strict Prussian discipline and the cane ..
.. and the better society now went to the sea, where then the "Bonne" looked after the children .. and the "normal" family was once a week .. bathing day, was in the tub where abgeschruppt a child at a time .. the Wassermußte but still fetched from the public street fountains, because their own wells had only a few houses ..

In 1900 there was already some years the first photos of the city and the family ..
.. Now it was fashionable .. if you had served .. (Mühlhausen was after all a garrison town) .. but a nanny could afford only the better circles ..
.. in the workers' families, the children often had to help with the homework that now - favorite playing grounds for low paid - was done for the new factories ..
.. The mother was single and had ".. to work in de factory ..", then also played the children in the street ..

In the "golden twenties" it was for the children are not always cute ..
some companies 'went bust' and many factory workers lost their jobs ..
There was already a treat, if you could look at the Blobach Kaspertheater na ... And if the shooters or military clubs attracted to music through the town .., the young heart beat faster ..
In school they had indeed finally learned what had so know a good German .. (For example, the individual wars and their dates ..) .. and ultimately it was Mühlhausen Prussian district town in the Prussian government district of Erfurt ..

In the twelve years of Nazi Herrchaft the children should be ".. in the spirit of the leader .." be educated. In kindergarten prayers were studied for the leaders in young people and in the Hitler Youth learned to march one, shoot, etc., and at home were heard in Volksemfänger only the leaders speeches, then the special reports from the front and then the enemy positions on enemy bombers ...
The children of Jewish families were from the "national community" excluded and could only no movie theaters and the pool and then visit any "Aryan" school. Education they received from Rabbi in "Jewish home" in the former Horst Wessel Road. 1943/44 they came but as their parents into the concentration camp and how they were killed ..

And then, Germany was in ruins and half of Europe ... The fathers had been killed or captured. Now the mothers were fighting, but not at the front .. but for daily survival of the family ...
even greater distress had to deal with the "settlers" who had lost virtually ales .. here and had to start from scratch .. Thousands had come to Mulhouse .. 1945/46,
.. in school, the children were then often called "Pollack" considered wrong .., but the game on the road it was then usually do not care where you came ..

And again a new time .. From the Soviet zone, the GDR was ... a large proportion of women now went to work .., it was child benefit .., marriage loans .. , creches and Kindergärtern ...
In the 10-class POS and in the higher level - the EOS - you got to find the obligatory Russian, also Stabu and ML ..
was one of 14 youth consecration and a book "Space-Earth-Man" and was now almost an adult ..
. since then included the children's magazines, such as Bummi, Atze, FROESI etc., now of the past .. but the MOSAIC-books - now coveted collectors' items - Were also later read like ..

But there was also the Protestant kindergartens .. and it was beat music - although that was frowned upon officially, but was still heard and played - and there was the big bag of sugar-to-School ...
.. and if then a company holiday resort for the whole family got ..,
... what more could you ask ..?

With the nineties again much was different ...
More and more families had soon .. a home where the children then often able to help in the garden ..,
.. and birthdays and they went to school with it for now .. time to Schwoben and Badeners (Or bathing Eaters ..??)
More and more parents now bring their kids to school by car and if the child wants something, it can sometimes quickly send a text message with the phone ..

... a new era .. and actually, despite all the grumbling ... one, not so bad ...

.. including Smiley believes that such a view in the past is still quite instructive ...

... one learns to appreciate the presence of only 'times right ..
